About the Film

This film was created as part of a Communications Lab project at NYUAD. The 30 Minutes Film Festival (30MFF) consists of a small competition between different groups formed by the Communication Lab students. The ultimate goal is to film a short movie.

Premises and Constraints

The goal of this experiment was to film a short clip in 30 minutes. All the planning, script making, recording, and post editing took place within those 30 minutes. In this case, Snapchat was used as an easy and fast method of film editing, as it allows for instant compilation of all individual clips.

Topic. What is the film about?

This film is about optimism. The different characters experience changes in their mood, as well as changes in their perception of everyday concerns. All this changes are triggered by the same object, which represents how everyone can change their perspective with just a little hope.
